These Terms & Conditions apply to services provided by Ridge Hollow Co., a registered Pennsylvania home improvement contractor. These Terms & Conditions are incorporated into and form part of the applicable Home Improvement Contract between Ridge Hollow Co. and the Customer.
Work is limited to the services specifically described in the applicable estimate and Home Improvement Contract. Any additional work or changes to the agreed scope require customer approval and may result in additional charges.
All service calls are subject to a minimum charge of two (2) hours of labor, regardless of the actual time required to complete the work, unless otherwise stated in the estimate or Home Improvement Contract.
Pricing is based on conditions reasonably visible or known at the time of the estimate. Hidden damage, unforeseen conditions, changes requested by the Customer, or additional work outside the agreed scope may result in additional charges.
Any change to the agreed scope, specifications, materials, or price will be documented through a written change order approved by the Customer and Ridge Hollow Co. before the additional work is performed, If an unforeseen condition requires immediate action to prevent further damage or protect persons or property, Ridge Hollow Co. may take reasonable temporary measures necessary to address the immediate condition and will communicate with the Customer as soon as reasonably practicable.
Unless otherwise stated, Ridge Hollow Co. will provide the materials necessary to perform the agreed work.
Customer-supplied materials are used at the Customer’s risk. Ridge Hollow Co. is not responsible for defects, incompatibility, improper sizing, manufacturer defects, or other problems arising from customer-supplied materials.
Payment is due upon completion unless different payment terms are stated in the applicable Home Improvement Contract or invoice.
Deposits, when permitted and required, will be stated in the Home Improvement Contract.
Any late payment fees or other charges will be limited to amounts permitted by applicable law.
The Customer is responsible for:
Providing safe and reasonable access to the work area.
Securing pets and animals away from the work area.
Removing fragile, valuable, or personal items from the work area.
Informing Ridge Hollow Co. of known conditions that may affect the work.
Obtaining any property-owner, HOA, landlord, or other non-govermental approvals or permissions that may be required for the work.
Ridge Hollow Co. may postpone or decline work if safe access or working conditions cannot reasonably be provided.
Estimated start and completion dates are provided in good faith and may change because of weather, material availability, supplier delays, customer delays, unforeseen site conditions, or other circumstances outside Ridge Hollow Co.’s reasonable control.
Ridge Hollow Co. will make reasonable efforts to communicate material scheduling changes to the Customer.
Customers are asked to provide at least 24 hours’ notice when cancelling or requesting a rescheduling of a scheduled appointment.
This policy does not limit or replace any cancellation or rescission rights provided to the Customer by Pennsylvania law, including the Customer’s statutory right to rescind a home improvement contract within three business days.
Any refund or treatment of deposits following cancellation will be handled in accordance with the applicable Home Improvement Contract and Pennsylvania law.
Unless a different warranty is stated in the applicable Home Improvement Contract, Ridge Hollow Co. provides a 30-day workmanship warranty beginning on the date the contracted work is completed.
The workmanship warranty does not cover:
Normal wear and tear.
Pre-existing conditions.
Defects in customer-supplied materials.
Manufacturer defects.
Damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidents, or conditions outside Ridge Hollow Co.’s control.
Work or alterations performed by others after Ridge Hollow Co. completes the work.
Manufacturer warranties, when applicable, are separate from Ridge Hollow Co.’s workmanship warranty.
Standard cleanup of debris generated by the contracted work is included unless otherwise stated.
Haul-away, disposal of large quantities of material, specialty disposal, or deep cleaning is not included unless specifically listed in the estimate or Home Improvement Contract.
A disposal or haul-away fee may apply when stated in the estimate.
Ridge Hollow Co. may take photographs or videos before, during, and after work for documentation, estimating, quality control, warranty, and record keeping purposes.
Ridge Hollow Co. may use non-identifying photographs for marketing purposes, including its website, social media, and advertising. Customers may request in writing that photographs of their property are not used for marketing purposes.
Marketing use will not include the Customer’s name, address, or other identifying personal information without separate permission.
Ridge Hollow Co. will not knowingly perform work that is outside the scope of its registration, insurance coverage, applicable law, or the terms of the applicable Home Improvement Contract.
Ridge Hollow Co. will not perform or accept work that requires a permit, inspection, or other government approval as a condition of performing the work. If it is determined before or during the project that any requested or contracted work requires a permit, inspection, or other government approval, Ridge Hollow Co. will not perform that work and may decline or discontinue the affected portion of the project.
Ridge Hollow Co. reserves the right to decline work that it determines is outside its services, insurance coverage, registration classification, or applicable legal requirements.
Ridge Hollow Co. is registered as a Pennsylvania Home Improvement Contractor.

Ridge Hollow Co. maintains liability insurance as required by applicable Pennsylvania law and its insurance policy.
Ridge Hollow Co. maintains commercial general liability insurance with limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,00,000 general aggregate, subject to the terms, conditions, exclusions, and limitations of the applicable insurance policy.
The version of these Terms & Conditions incorporated into a particular Home Improvement Contract is the version in effect and identified in that contract on the date the contract is executed.
Changes to these Terms & Conditions after a contract is signed will not modify an existing contract unless the parties agree to the change in writing.
These Terms & Conditions and the applicable Home Improvement Contract will be governed by applicable Pennsylvania law.
The applicable Home Improvement Contract, the estimate referenced by that contract, any signed written change orders, and the version of these Terms & Conditions incorporated into the contract constitute the agreement between Ridge Hollow Co. and the Customer.
If there is a conflict between these Terms & Conditions and a specific provision of the signed Home Improvement Contract, the specific provision of the signed Home Improvement Contract controls.
